Has anyone got a spare set of tail/indicator lights for a 1967 Olympic. I want to have a crack at using the original unit but converting the guts to LED. I don't want to operate on the ones on the van until I know what's involved. I know it can be done but I am not sure how yet.

Is he sure about that!? I have searched everywhere. I presume your talking about Hella combination lamps...fat chance! My 65 uses the Hella's yours may be different, if so...sorry Bob However, Narva make almost an exact replica. Not a bad idea you have there though. I am currently rebuilding mine and pinched some nice Hella surrounds from a Moke front indicator set. My surrounds were stuffed. Be interested to see how you go as it would apply to most of us using original gear. Please post some pics of your efforts. Might be nice to get a little brightness back there

These are the lights that Prem's Vacation had on it.
The Hellas are/were still available but at a horrendous cost.
The Narvas are virtually identical and at a fraction of the cost.
I suppose it will depend on how much you value originality.
Leigh.

Are you guys talking about these Hella lights? cheers, Al. ....just saw the Narva replica at the local parts joint,$27.02 each......look exactly the same as Hella ,probably not the same quality but it'd still do the job , cheers, Col.
