Hi Kaybee
Dont know what the van is, but thats how I remember rods from the early 60's, when I fell in love with street rodding as a young teenager. Most of the rods I saw in NSW in those days were channelled.
The memories of continually having to shut the doors in a channelled car still are there. Every bump & driveway used to open the doors in my friend Kevin Burton's channelled 33, that I was lucky enough to take a few rides in.
Thanks for the memories

Thanks Ray ,pretty close isn't it? , just seems the one I pictured has a squarer or sharper "ledge" over the front windows......most everything else looks right though.....

G'day Col, When I put my magnifying glass over the computer screen, the nameplate above the front window looks like it starts with an "S", and then the second letter (although faint) looks like it has a high, long "stem" to it, like a h,k,l,t or something like that. I first thought Gypsy, but the brow over the front window is nothing like it. Something beginning with 'S' ?? (It's almost like "I spy with my little eye..." ) cheers, Al.

Thanks Col,
I reckon the modified 33 hood sides on the duece would have been pretty advanced construction for the day.
Notice I dont use the terminology "hi tech" as its used as an excuse for lots of poorly thought thru concepts
And the sloper was pretty cool. I dont think I ever came across either of the rods in my travels, but thats not surprising I guess, because I lived in the Bush until 1965.
JBJ
Thanks again.
