Got me one of those trays for our butler to serve us brekky in bed with, in the van. We call him "Jeeves" but he reckons that's short for "Jeez I've worked hard today!" Anyhoo, the tray was in a garage sale but didn't sell (for $3...why wasn't I told?!! ), so it made it's way to the Salvos. Those savvy Salvos knew I'd be along eventually, and that I'd pay whatever price they put on it, so they whacked an $8 price tag onto it (but left the garage sale sticker on it just to rub salt into the wound). Note the slot head screws not lining up... Somebody's trying to sell a similar sort of tray on ebay at the moment, but it's 3 times what I paid for mine : Ebay Traycheers, Al.

G'day AL, You going to take it to Cowra ? I have one made by the same company as the one on ebay..... even has the same sticker underneath as the one on ebay...... I notice yours hasn't got a sticker underneath..... bought mine at that old wares shop near Coledale.... mine has antique patina so naturally it cost a little bit more, as you would expect ..... the slot head screws on mine weren't lined up either.... but I fixed that Do you think people (Reddo) will laugh at us or be jealous of us if we sit together at "happy hour" with our trays on our lap ?.......... I think I know the answer to that Maybe I could start a thread on serving/lap trays if enough people bring theirs to Cowra, aye ?. Cobber.

Reddo will be our best buddy when he realises the only place to put his beer down will be on one of our trays. I think the spring clip design underneath mine is a fair bit more primitive than the ebay one. Maybe mine is an earlier model? Or maybe mine is the budget model that was made by a "No name" company. Mine's got plenty of patina...but it's all on the underside. cheers, Al.

Made this one a few years ago. It was a piece of silky oak stud I cut up and turned into something useful. The boss used the other piece as chocks for his car The holes in the timber are from nails Atog

That Kaybee tray looks like it might scratch the duco! Here's a gorgeous set of Brexton car door trays I picked up for the EJ.
