Hi VVanners, It is with great regret I am forced to sell my beloved Sunny. I've had great fun over the years with the van but it's time to move on. I've just listed it on Gumtree. It's very original and has featured in numerous magazines. thanks for all the help and advice over the years with it. Price is $19,500 (firm) yours, Dorian my email is me@dorianmode.com mobile: 0407 284 637

The whitewalls are simply inserts. they are very good and you can buy light truck tyres and still have whitle walls. you buy them from antique tyres at ingleburn.

Wooow! Congratulations guys! So rare to find them in original condition like yours and mine. Don't touch a thing!!! Love the letters, too. Great provenance. Isn't the columbine colour system gorgeous?? Looks just like my interior - right down to the flecked plate rack. You never see them unmolested.
Another jewel saved!!

Hi guys, Am driving my Sunliner to Chatswood in Sydney to promote my new play- a comedy all about food. Nothing like a sunliner to attract attention. Hope some of you can make it. A fun night out. Link below. www.feedemfighters.com/best Dorian

Good tips. I used a sand blaster but it left the fiberglass van with more pock-holes than pop star Seal.

Hi yawl, Haven't been on for a while - final year PHD. Re: Sunliner. Have stuck with the marconi track and cleats for awning. Is there any easier way to make it work without swearing and pulling your hair out?

Mate, I'm with the others. This has to be the fastest reno I've ever seen, You are certainly a handy bloke with tools. (Unlike me.) Took me a 18 months to paint mine! Keep us all posted.

Thanks again for this reply JBJ and Sutcac. Yes, my son and I just tried to feed the old awning via the marconi track. Well, all I can say is that thank God Marconi invented the radio because if this was his only invention I'd say he was a total knob. What a NIGHTMARE!!! So ahem... where do I buy a sail track and how do I fit it? Any close up pics of the setup Sutcac? regards, Dorian

Wow, what a great response! Thanks. This forum never fails me! Thanks to Al, Don Ricardo, Sutcac (yes, how many pics of an annex can one man have but thanks) and the ever-faithful Humpty. I think I will go for 4x4. Yes, I have the original macaroni rail and now thanks to Sue and Stew, the guides for the new awning. ;D Getting it on is a pain. Do you guys have any tips? I'm 6.2 but clearly I'll have to take a step ladder with me right? Feeding it on the rails looks like a drag. What's the best solution? Deep breaths? cheers Dorian
