Hi i am looking for a small vintage van. Would prefer the interior to still be complete, don't mind if we have to do a bit of a tidy and bits of fixing - nothing too structural. We don't mind if the outside needs painting and cleaning. Looking for a project but not a full restorer - not handy enough. from the wannabe wanderers. phone: 0417155367 email: dave_duncan67@hotmail.com

Hi everyone, Very excited!!! Bought a little Rowvan on ebay today, only one problem - how do we get it to Queensland? Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way for us to get it up here. It is not towable or registed. Any advise would be very much appreciated. The wannabe wanders.

No Way !!! I am from Qld and was also bidding on that Rowvan!! Too funny. But i had to go into a meeting just before the bidding ended and also my budget couldn't factor in the transporting up to Brisbane and then the repairs that it would need as well to respect it's rarity. But like you said, i think it was meant to be as you vacationed there as a child. Congratulations. So happy for you!
Please make sure you post the photos of the restoration you do to it here.

Hi dave I went and looked at that Rowvan last week for frogprincess. I think you have a great little van there. Wouldn't consider towing it to Qld though, as it has been sitting for about 25 years. Should not be a difficult fix. for you. PM me if you want some pics of the main problem areas. Ray
