Me again. This is what is my tow car. My other love is on the back. I have just completed a re-power of the tow car and it now runs a 318 Fireball V8 with automatic gearbox and power steering. The car was originally a Hearse from 1972 till approx 1980 (in Tamworth NSW), before it ended up in Alice Springs with my wife's Uncle, the car has affectionately become known as George (after my wife's Uncle).

While I am on a run with Photo bucket I would post a photo of a tow car I had for a few years ,but is now sold . when I purchased this 68 Galaxie it was all white . .i painted the front and back black and added a few stickers here and there ,also some hardware on the roof (all working of course ) .this was the cheapest classic car that I have owned but it got by far the most looks from the public .

Hi All ,putting up a few photo,s of a 60 Chev I got locally a few months ago , I would have usually have a car like this on the road by now but I have a hold up waiting for a fuel tank ( 3 months waiting ,Superperformance Bris , I think they forgot to order it from their supplier in the USA ) It is a bit ruff so it is going to be matt black with some kind of flames or graphics ? As I have done in the past I have knocked up a reese hitch type tow bar so I can adjust the ball height to keep the van level when towing . As you can see in the photo,s I have cleaned and painted the under side of the car as well as replaced all bush,s , seals and brakes . The previous owner managed to wreck every part he touched which is wearing a bit thin at the moment . I am understanding more now that some people do not know enough about cars to even start to describe that cars condition ,but think they do .

All nice tow cars! Love 60 Chevs. Used to laugh at one in NZ years ago used as a tow car for a dragster. It had a full size vice bolted on top of the rear gaurds and they used the boot lid for a work bench.
