Hi,
They certainly were one of the most stylish cars built &/or assembled in Australia in my opinion. Shame they had the old sicks in them most of the time.
Same body shell basically as my 55 dodge.

Dave, yes had a tow bar. I feel the paint is original or very old, only one little rust bubble I could see. And yes Humpty it is a V8. I absolutly love it. Had almost perfect hub caps and dress trims. Funny how things come out, showed the pic to one of the older guys in the office and his dad worked for Chrysler building these at what is now the Le Cornu site on Anzac highway. Jeez i wish this house was finished so I could search for something like that to use till I get the Hudson on the road, they would make a beautiful pair.

Hi Dave,
The Dodge I got for spares looked the same as I remember Chrysler Royals to be, but Humpty would know as he has an early 50,s Chrysler as well as a Royal.
