maaaaate ............what's with the chunky al la 1930's mafia staff car style whitewalls .........fine line whitewalls much nicer I've suffered the frustration of this project with you all this year, ..........and no, ........I haven't heard your shed expletives from Beverley ........too far away ,....... but most definately have heard them whilst sitting in my dramadale office 70 kms away ;D Yep, that resto project gave you the s h i t e s, .........but looky looky now .....all the spanner throwing, and dummy spits have been well worthwhile ........just look at the Prem ......sweeeeeeet .....the blood sweat, tears and expletives have produced a magnificent result! I remember clearly sitting between Mum & Dad in the front of seat of our HR when dad drove it brand spankin' new outta Sydney Ats Holden Adelaide Tce in 1968. His was a run out model, as the HK had already hit the showroom floor. Of course, he got the outdated model heapa cheapa for this reason. Dad's was a white spthecial,...... red trim with the optional 186 I've like this model ever since Sandy will get many hours of driving pleasure outta this one .......much more fun than driving a 2011 Camry hey ;D ....... the HR will more than deliver the "oh what a feeling" !!! As for rarely fit spares .........yep, its all been said before, their repro parts are crap ....with a capital "C" (shit I hope they're not sponsoring our nationals ) A tip ..........NO MORE PROJECTS ..........if its not a turnkey classic, don't buy it !!!!!!!!!!!!!......simple really AND .......before you return to the real working world, give THE DON a lick of paint and get it on the road! Mark

Hiya NBG She looks cool mate... Swearing and throwing is cool.. While doing that it takes up the time it would have taken ya to find the matches.. dowse it in petrol and burn the lot... Scars on the forehead and subsequent headaches from head butting and wall banging soon heal when you finally slide in behind the wheel and take the project for a test run.... The head swelling returns when ya see the reaction of joe Average on the street as you cruise on by... Congrats on what looks to be a job well done... Sandy is a very lucky person. Regards Reddo

Hi Brian & Sandy,
Good things come to those who wait, they tell me.
Its always good to see a long term project back on the road, & you forget the problems & hassles pretty quickly.
Get out there & enjoy a classy car.

hi brian and sandy
that's a pretty sweet looking hr - and this is coming from a ford man.
i've done some research and found that the new price for an hr special was $2167, so given that sandy's car is a premier, i'm prepared to offer you $2500 (see revised offer) cash for it and i won't even expect the original warranty to be included in the sale.
needless to say i'd be losing money on the deal but i'm prepared to help you out as much as i possibly can.
i can't see you getting a better deal than that.
give me a call.

i've given the deal a bit more thought and have decided to offer you $2550 for the hr. i'm really bending over backwards here to give you the best deal i can, so get back to me as soon as possible, the offer can't last forever.

Hi Noblesgarage, You've done yourself - and Sandy - proud with her new ride. Compared to how it came out of the factory, on a scale of 1 to 100, no doubt it's 110! Very nice work indeed. Don Ricardo
