PS: Just a suggestion for those who take issue with late night chatters having too much fun catching up with others - maybe next time you should do what I always do when I'm caravanning - take ear plugs, close your van door when sleeping and turn on a fan to block out the noise rather than yell at your neighbours to shut up and go to bed! Don't know the circumstances for the comment, but do wonder in principle why the offended should have to adapt for the sake of the offender? Caravan parks have rules for the comfort of all users and surely as representatives of a forum of caravan users, we too have an obligation not to cause a nuisance for other park users.

Hi all, There's some great pics of the various vans and cars at the South Australia get together in Tanunda last weekend here for those that are interested. The link is to a page from the Chrysler Restorers Club of SA website. Some great vans on show, and Chrysler tragics will be drooling! Nice to be able to identify the vans of quite a few V V forum members that attended, but all the pics are a feast. Don Ricardo

Tanunda in the Barossa Valley was the venue chosen by Bob Freak who tirelessly kept the weekend rolling. A terrific weekend with fellow caravaners, we must have more of these in South Oz. Thanks to John and Gwenda Coombe for their welcoming reception for Lisa Mora of the Vintage Caravan Magazine. South Australian caravan builders from early days included Bill and Mary Rowe, built the Rowvan. Larry and Judy Weepers built their last Roadmaster in November 2011. Jan and Sal Cappola built Roadmaster and later created the Adelma. Ray and Jean Mossop along with Ray’s father built the Broadway. A most enjoyable weekend thanks to veteran caravaner Bob Freak for organizing a perfect event. Sunday morning pancake breakfast compliments of the management of the Tanunda Caravan Park.

Hi all, just received my copy of "Still swinging The Billy" its a great finish and good quality publication, very happy can't wait to read it.
On another issue, as we were leaving the gathering at Tanunda, a dodge/fargo/inter ute in grey and pink with a matching bondwood caravan pulled in, it looked great. I havn't seen anything about in the above posts. Anyone know anything about it?

Hi there. The Pink Fargo and Furness van belong to Mark 'Spike' and Naomi Holt of Springton. We knew the ute as 'the cocky truck' before the resto and it had yellow on it as well as the pink and grey then. The Furness can be seen prior to resto, on the S.A. Caravan and Camping show thred of a few years ago. Regards Beetles
