Hi Brenten,
Good to see you on the Forum.
I met you a few times in Melbourne a fair few years back, including one time at Johns picnic. Your van & Kustom have travelled pretty well over the years. There have been a few photos of your van posted over the years, by various members, that are somewhere in the archives.
Hope you enjoy your stay on the Forum.

Brenten,
Welcome to the forum!
To all those VV members out there I must share with you that I first saw Brenten's 49 Ford n Sunny in the 2005 "Street Machine Annual"
And fell in love with it.
It was the inspiration to purchase a Sunny and we have travelled along similar design paths as Brenten has .
On behalf of Julie and I - Thank you Brenten ! Your rig is awesome.
In 2006 I had 2 conversations with Brenten and I always found him both informative and willing of his time to share his passion.
He will be a welcome addition to the VV family.
Regards, Swellwillys.

The van looks great..... but i am absolutely drooling over this chopped top ford...... I know we are supposed to go ape over the vans... but I gotta congratulate you on one of the best cars i have seen for ages... Looks almost like it has driven off the pages of an old batman comic.... I would love to see some more pictures of it.... I bet you create a whiplash effect everytime you drive down the street in it ... Cheers

Good to meet you at Cowra Brenten. We are the ones that helped put up your annex when you arrived. We love your matching pair and they look even better in person. You mentioned earlier the front bumper is fibreglass. Is it coated in that new chrome paint or is it actually chrome plated ? I have heard they can electroplate non metal objects now. Cheers. John

They can electroplate type sliver over it and then you must 2 pack clear over over the top of it I,m in the middle of doing my 55 mercury 100 pick up as I've designed a custom front bar & grille the chroming will straight after Cooley's cheers Tony

Anyone looking to chrome plate ANYTHING, if it's not metal should have a look at this site www.chrometech.com.au/ I was looking to get an awkward part for my car re-chromed and went there, but he couldn't do it as it was steel. The advice was to have it made in fiber glass and he could gladly assist. They had an impressive display cabinet of odd bits they had chromed, baby shoes and what every home needs, a chrome plated Big Mac and fries George
