Hi all, we just got ourselves a electrolux 3 way fridge only to discover that it doesn't fit - note to self, must measure things first! So we've got a fridge here if anyone wants it, haven't tested it yet, but will plug it in now and see how it goes.
So now I'm on the look out for a gas fridge! If anyone has a spare, please let me know. I'm also hunting for a light to go above the stove. The switch on the one that was there is kaput and the glass is missing so I need to replace the whole thing.
Finally, I'm still looking for windows. Alfab 2'6" x 18" or Qualicraft 790x490 would fit the bill.
Thanks all!

Ummmmmmm....yep can relate to all of the above! Painted doors and frames and jambs etc...I even measured everything!!!!!!!!!! Would not fit any way we turned it. Hatch too small, windows, forget it! Ended up by stripping down the fridge and taking jambs off! It only just squeezed thru scratching all my hard work... paintbrush out again! Now on ebay there happens to be this very cool retro look, brand new bar fridge....if ours did not fit with the effort I put into stripping it down, I was going to BUY IT!!!!! Cause it was smaller than the one I have put in and VERY reasonably priced! AND I love the look of it for vv's! (Was a little peeved I managed to maneuver it in. Haven't plugged it in yet.... so just maybe.......) Why are these old van doorways so narrow? Good luck Jennie
