Can anyone advise on where I might secure drawings on construction of 1950's era wooden vans.I am interested in building a large tear drop type similar to a German van I have seen. I am capable of making my own plans but why re-invent the wheel plus there are often good buildings tips that save time on existing plans.
Timber frame with either metal or ply skin with exterior "woodie" type frame finish would be my plan to tow behind my 1952 restored truck.
Thanks for any ideas.

Hi, If you PM me with your email address, I could scan of a plan for a small 'caravan for two' from the book ' How To Build Trailers' which was published in the early 1950's (I think).
thanks

Thanks Graem
Email is cavanaghclan01@bigpond.com
Will be interesting to look at your plan. I am keen to get a book of old caravan plans for idea purposes. I have a basic idea of what I want to do but looking at somebody else's idea often saves a lot of frustration.Maybe able to score a book at our next local swap meet.
Thanks for rep[lying-Happy new year
