Hi Brewer. Theres a thousand different Led lights on ebay if you want to go that direction. IE: Use those housings. If the Rangys`your tow wagon, how about a matching pair? Or XL/M/P Falcon? EJ Holden? It`s a mine field once you start thinking what`s out there. And don`t forget regulation height & distances seeings it won`t be original. Not to mention, check how far up from underneath so as not to fall foul of any restrictions - frame work/flooring etc. cheers gordon

If you want to get a classic look and keep some relationship to the rangie try Landrover Defender lights. I put some on the tear drop and they looked great. Rollydog

for tail lamps, Lucas Beehives like the front blinkers on morris minors and early land rover, Morris Major tail lamps are also nice, about 6" in diameter, I think I have a spare set.

Or maybe a pair of Caddy lights? There`s two pairs up on 'the bay'. Upright or length ways would certainly look quite good, though you`d have to mould a wood base to adapt to the shape. Couple of Morris Minor units also there but maybe a bit small for the size of your van. cheers gordon

Hey Brewer, Here's a US web site that has Auto tail lights. www.taillightking.com/Mid 50s Fords had round tail lights that might work. I always thought that the latter Caraparks - Astronaught and Zestlines - might be able to use US 1957 Plymouth tail lights. I'm under the impression that the original Carapark Astronaughts and Zestlines are often missing their tail lights and replacements are next to impossible to find. It looks to me the '57 Plymouth tail light & backup light combo may fit and look quite nice with the later Carapark tailfins. Cheers

Dave01 is right, Auto spares Galore have a stack of different lights. I recently bought some of these for my trailer They are the same as what I have on my caravan. The only problem with them is that they are festoon type lights which means that you can't have both tail and stop lights in the same lens. Just means having to put separate tail lights on....not that big-a-deal. These cost me $25 per light without globes...... However, I did buy the ones on the caravan a few years ago for $10 or $15 at the Bendigo swap meet, so it's worth shopping around. I think that you can get festoon LED's from autobarn now as well if you're worried that the normal globes not being bright enough. Hope this helps, Regards, John

I think the Landrover ones will be an easy get as there are a few suppliers around . The Brisbane one is at Kipparing /redcliffe on Anzac Avenue but I can't remember their exact name at present. Good guys to deal with though.

G'day Brewer,
Leigh may be able to tell you the name of the Land Rover parts place when he comes back online. I can't remember the name, but if it's any help I can tell you it's located in Middleborough Road, Blackburn South, close to the corner of Middleborough Road and Canterbury Road.
Middleborough Road is the boundary between Blackburn and Box Hill, hence Leigh's reference to Box Hill. The Land Rover place has been there for yonks.
