Evening all, When we were in Mildura for the V V Nationals in May, I was fortunate enough to be shown over the following caravan by its owner: The van is almost certainly of South Australian origin because of the style of its roof (which was originally probably canvas covered), and the tudor ceiling. However it's maker is unknown. Lazza has suggested that it may be an Adventurer, but the van also has a stove alcove which is very typical of Rowvans - this can be seen in the second picture. My guess by its shape and style is that it is a 1940's van. The van also has a very unusual tow hitch, again suggesting a 40's van. There are more photos and information here - see Reply #10. The van seemed pretty solid, both inside and out. However, I saw it at dusk and was not looking at it in terms of restoration, so I cannot vouch 100% for its condition. The current owner does not intend to do anything with the van (he has another project in the offing) and told me that he could be interested in selling it. If anyone is interested, PM me and I will give you the owner's contact details. Don Ricardo
