Good buys there.
Those types usually sell for around $25 each at swap meets or $40 to $50 in antique shops and are usually not found in such good apparent condition as yours. You can still buy the elements for them new even though those jugs haven't been made for years.

Nice jugs sureferboy. (No pun intended). I got one similar to the flat profile jug you have, except half height and no cord, but it was free, and I bought a toaster with a 4 foot cord that fits. (which is cool the Franklin only has one kitchen power point.) Tinnie

Those kinda jugs have cost me dearly August 1999 .....Puchased "Joker 11" September 1999 .....some clown (ex mate ;D) suggests I fill it with 50's period junk ...... October 1999 ....on return from great weekend with Holden Car Club in Bridgetown (met Carrots n Trev) stop at junk shop in Donnybrook purchased 1 jug ( as per your photo ) July 2007 ..... two totally filled caravans in shed, one 40's ... one 50's ...still can't stop collecting stuff from 40's & 50's, even though now have enough to twice fill both caravans .... Take a tip ......stop NOW

Mark,
He won't stop, you can see he loves those jugs, and when he puts them in his van he'll love 'em more, and he'll say "what I need now is an old toaster" and while he goes searching through junk shops for an old toaster he'll find other beautiful stuff he'll fall in love with, and he'll finish up like you.....and me, more stuff than you can poke a stick at.
Pity the poor collector.
Cobber.

Hi Humps
If you want, send a pm and let me know what you need for your van. Probably have most things that you have stated and am having a large clearout (think the 'in' phrase is downsizing). Not that I am in way a collector, hoarder or purveyor of irrelevant goodies.
