Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right spot. I've just joined and wanted to say hi. I'm from Newcastle NSW. I'm after a little old van to join our family for weekends away etc. I'm not very familiar with the names but something like a Bondwood? I want a small one so she will be easy for me to tow. If anyone knows of a van for sale (hopefully close byish) that would be great. They all seem to be in Victoria! Thanks everyone. I'm glad I found this site and I look forward to chatting with you all. Have a great day Kelly

Hiya Dreamcatcher Nothing on the Newcastle Bondwood radar at the moment. I know of a very neat fibreglass van for sale at warners bay at the moment if you are interested. Just log on to this site each day and check out the for sales . The occasional scan for vintage caravans on ebay can also pay dividends. The fact that you are willing to travel to check one out / retrieve one is a bonus..... after all .. that is what caravanning is all about... travelling. Hang in there .. something will turn up. Reddo, "Humpty2", and "Olympicriviera" are also Novacastrians here on the forum too.

Thanks again for the more warm welcomes ;D ;D ;D Reddo, I'm glad you posted a message. Can you tell me more about the van in Warners Bay? Are the fibreglass vans very heavy? I've had a bit of a look thru the pics on here and I like 'Chippydave's" 64 Sunliner. There is also the Purple People Sleeper (if you know that one) which is fibreglass. I was thinking of getting a bondwood van because it would be lighter and therefore easier to tow? Is that right? I am so new to these old vans so please be patient with me, I'm still learning about them Kelly
