Correction Kenneth You might be at Wagga Wagga - Beach Caravan Park the week before Coledale.. www.caravanparkphotos.com.au/wagga_beach/index.htmIt is where next years tour may be starting from. Good to hear the old heavy Chevy transported you down the Murray and back without a hitch. I got home from the tour in the '92 Chev Ute and put a bit over 1 litre of oil in the gearbox. I mentioned to kaybee that it was getting a bit noisey... Now i know why. Towing a van with an empty cogbox is a quick path to disaster. Hope ya can grab the 6day tour by the tail next year. ;D Wagga and all points north/ west/ east... then north west /north east along the Olympic highway Cootamundra, Young, Junee, to Cowra and Bathurst before heading to Coledale on the thursday. No arguements.. you pair of black ducks are booked in Daffy ;D Reddo

Hey Reddo, Yes I get your point and any excuse to go toodling around the central west is welcomed. I have stayed at the Wagga Beach park a few times, it is Ok and central to town with plenty of room for vans. We should be starters unless the alzheimers kicks in again. Your planned route has many opportunities for sight seeing and should be easy vanning country except for the Bathurst to Sydney leg. The road is sealed now between Bathurst and Goulburn so there is another option. Whichever I am sure you have it in hand and it will be a great run.
