Have been away a few times in the Escape Pod in the last couple of weeks; Busselton, Guilderton, and Boddington. I thought it might be worth mentioning what a great destination Boddington Caravan Park is for a short Vin Van run out of Perth. There is certainly no major tourist attraction, but it is a neat little shire-run park right beside the Hotham River and small weir. (See Pic taken from caravan door) Boddington is only about 100 km from Perth's southern suburbs via Albany Hwy, or via Dwellingup. Suggestion, Mark / Ditz: Maybe we can have a "Destinations" section on the board so we can share travel advice of neat locations to visit with the vans.

Well, seeing as the gauntlet has been thrown my way...
I reckon we could manage a weekend away before Brookton (March 25/26).
So the dates we can look at are weekends of Feb 18, 25, or March 4. Any later is getting close to Brookton's date ...I prefer more sooner than later.
Once we home in on a date, I'll start collecting names and organise the booking.
So what do the other WA VC'ers think?

I see from Surferboy's post elsewhere that the FC-FE club is busy on the weekend of the 25th. And Mark and Ditzy miss all 3 options.
Will has suggested it as a winter option. The park has a very good sheltered gathering area with clear PVC cafe curtains around, but all the same ....Brrrrrrr. (Don't forget your heater) How adventurous are we?
Does anybody want to offer alternative dates?
