Hi Will and Lyn, The Big Dipper is well know here in Victoria and a few ex Hawthorn player had places down at Rye like Don Scott. We went to book our spot at Rye for Feb 17th-18th, but they couldn't put us all together as they have already been taken. They have a spot 5k's down the road at Blairgowrie next door to the RACV Club Caravan Park and are able to put us all together. So it looks like Blairgowrie is the go and we now have 6 vans going so far. Cheers Tony Galea.

G'day Nascohunter and victorian crew, The push is on to have my van ready for this run but as it still dosent have a roof, I really feel that we won't have it done. We will however drop in to met everyone. We'll be the ones in either a green vw bettle or a black morris minor, depending on how fast we need to get home!!! Cheers, John

Thanks Tony, your van and Joe's looked the part too and with a heap of interest in all three vans, it was great to see. 10 vans going to Blairgowrie will be a great sight to see. A real step back into the past. A few people I talked to said they might come down and check things out and join in the fun! So where are all the other Victorian crew that showed so much interest on this site in the past. C'mon guys, come on down and have a great time with the rest of us. Should be a real hoot! Regards Bill

Hi Kris, You're right - the Stringer Road caravan park is next door to the RACV park. You'll be able to find us no worries. If you have any trouble, call Tony on his mobile 0412 360 992. To date we have 10 vans going and a few spectators will call to say g'day and check out the vans/cars. Cheers, Tony.

The number has increased to 11, so it looks like being a great weekend! We're bringing the cricket set and hope to get some beach cricket in. If you'd like to come and check out our vintage vans towed by early Holdens (mostly), then come to Stringer Road Foreshore Reserve, Point Nepean Road, Blairgowrie this Saturday 18th February.
