Hello all,
I must say that I really enjoy reading the Forum - so thank you all for your posts. I have a question that may not be related to this forum
- apologies in advance -
My Partner and I have a Hallmark and we would like to know more about these vans. Can anyone provide me with any information about Hallmark Caravans, when they were first introduced? any details about the builder? etc - have done some extensive searching online to no avail...

Hi sds79, Welcome to the forum. There are a few references to Hallmark caravans on the V V forum, but mostly in relation to people who replaced their older vans with a Hallmark in the 70's, 80's or 90's, and no historical info as such. References to Hallmark vans on Google also seem to refer to the 70's onwards, which you've probably already discovered. From that I'm guessing that Hallmarks were produced at a later point than the vans on this forum, which is focused on vans produced up to 31 December 1969. Maybe it would be worth putting up a post about your van on the V V forum's sister website, the Classic Caravans forum which covers the period from 1970 through to 1979: ditzygypsy.proboards107.com/index.cgiIn the meantime, if you want to check the references to Hallmarks on the V V forum try the 'Search' button on the menu bar at the top of the forum page. At the bottom of the search page is a box to insert the number of days you want to search for - type in 1800. That basically covers the life of the forum, and some of the references to Hallmarks are a few years old. Good luck with your search. Don Ricardo

Hi Folks Hallmark were last manufactured in a factory in Cranbourne Frankston Rd Langwarrin. I think it was roughly 5 years ago they stopped. It was a father a son effort father wanted to retire son went on to do other things. I cannot recall the names of these people. The vans they built were a high quality they were in what one would call the upper end of the market. The gentleman that built them did a lot of touring in his own. I would suggest he has one and is out and about touring now. bobt
