Very nice, and how about the scoop on the roof... sure way to keep dust out from seeping in around door..windows and all the other ways dust finds to get in. Love the cupboard handles . How is the masonite fixed to the frame......... with bolts Cobber.

Hi Mark, What a great van - a really classic 40's trapezoid shape. It's good to see vans like this one rescued and restored and good to hear about somebody else interested in linking into the WA V V scene. What is the purpose of the vent Cobber pointed out? And what is the galley layout like. I presume that tin lined cavity that we can get a glimpse of in the pics is the stove alcove? Typical of alot of WA homemade vans, its sheeted with Masonite. Any idea why masonite was so popular in WA? Don Ricardo

don't know what the vent is for Don R didn't investigate ....looks good but ;D Masonite ......probably coz it was more user friendly for the home handyman .....more pliable.
