Hi,
I am just new to the whole vintage caravan trend.
I am looking for a caravan for renovation for a cubby house and a camping caravan when we go away to the beach.
I am in Qld and need it to be structual to tow but doesn't matter about the inside condition of the caravan.
Can anyone help me with my search for what I have found to be the most stylish caravan shape ever created. It goes along with the gorgeous shapes of the cars of that era as well.
Thank you for reading this and have a great day.
Cheers,
Amanda.

G'day Amanda, Welcome to the forum. Great to hear about your interest in vintage caravans. Like older cars, vintage vans are full of character which seems to have be lacking in some of the modern "one van looks much like another" caravans. Caravans come up for sale on the forum from time to time, or people provide links to vans that are on sale on Ebay, so keep watching and something will turn up which is just what you're looking for. One of our contributors, Belinda, has a neat little Atlantic caravan which serves as a bedroom for one of her children most of the time but then doubles up for family holidays as well, so what you're proposing is something similar. I'm not sure where you are in Queensland, but there will be vintage caravan weekend being held on the last weekend in February or the first weekend of March 2009 at Maroochydore: vintagecaravans.proboards30.com/index.cgi?board=runevent1&action=display&thread=3279 You might like to put the dates in your diary and drop down (up? over?) to Maroochydore to check out some of the vans that will be there as well as meet some other Queensland vintage vanners. I hope you find what you're looking for. Good to have you along for the ride! Don Ricardo
