Well after a number of phone calls & scouring numerous online sites because of similar sounding names,i have been able to speak at length to a guy who has given me some more information on my little Teardrop as well as my wooden buckboard trailer. First off, the trailer is mid 30`s and how i got it is as close to being how it was constructed originally. Secondly the Teardrop had 16" Austin wheels fitted originally so the FJ wheels i was going to fit on and may still use temporally until i can locate original type. The small diamond patterned ali sides that i thought may have been replaced over the years turns out as being original too. So now i can move along in earnest knowing that the body is as was built. My contact is forwarding me some pics at a later time so i can see more in depth just how she looked all those years ago. Even pics from the kitchen area showing the LEAD lined ice box! That`s a no no these days of course. cheers
