I heard that the good Queen Elizabeth 2 only put on this VV meeting because she was upset she couldn't make it to Coledale and enjoy the company of her loyal subjects!!

Greetings Brian,
We (Australia) have recently appointed an Ambassador to the Holy sea.... I am wondering if you would mind if we ( Australian Vintage Caravanners) nominated you as our Ambassador to TRH Vintage Caravan Club, (assuming you are able to hold a glass of champagne in one hand and talk incessantly at the same time )
Your prime duty will be to get photographic evidence that any member of the Royal family was actually conceived in a caravan.
Cobber.

Thanks for my newly bestowed honour.
I am already a member of Her Maj's Caravan Club. Well - HRH Prince Philip is the Patron of the Caravan Club in the UK.
This Club is for modern caravans and has over 300000 members, I joined to get the cheapest insurance on my caravan - GPB 35 pa for GBP1500 cover.
But since I have been a member I have got a few pics of vintage and classic vans in their magazine.
With regard to the task you have set me, I'll consult the Royal Diary and if I see that Liz and Phil are away in their caravan, I'll pitch up next to them and ask if they have ever had their van rocking on its springs!
That's blown my chances of a Knighthood when they see this - they do read this forum you know!
