Hi Don,
Have you seen some reference or some other information about Windmill caravans?

Don Ricardo, Nothing much but bought a very nice badge off ebay in last week and just wondered about the name. Of course it may be English. regards don

Hi Don,
I guess 'Windmill' sounds as if it could be an English brand. Perhaps UKbrian or Cornish Lass can help us?
Any chance of posting a picture of the badge?

Go to the Wolfenden posting - you will find several pieces of information there. Make sure you read the magazine article next to the Wolfenden article about Windmill trailer co. On another post there is information about an address, and another has a photo of the name plate.

G'day wolf, Where have you been mate ?... We are still looking for a "Wolfenden" caravan but at the vintagecaravan.com nationals at Cowra in April/May a "Windmill" caravan was rescued . To see the story about it click here and Here. On those threads there are some questions that you might be able to help us answer. Around 1936 Windmill claim to have had 14 years experience, but using Trove, I can only find advertisements for their caravans from 1936 until 1938. I know they were building "luggage trailers" before that and I'm thinking that is what they were referring to when they claimed to have "14 years experience"............. what do you think ? Cobber (once the owner of a "Windmill" caravan )
