It would appear I have a 23ft Viscount Palace. Serial number: N1289 built in 1963 in NSW. <https://vintagecaravans.proboards.com/thread/18921/large-viscount-late-details-desired>. I am considering selling it. I'm not sure how to go about it or what an appropriate price would be. It has been in a shed on our farm for the past 30 years. It spent about 10 before that on an airfield at Euroa, Victoria where I used to fly sailplanes. Before that many years on a farm in Yarram Victoria used as a holiday home. Before that, unknown.
It has a separate bedroom, shower, but no toilet. It requires a lot of work in that water leaked in around the skylight and rotted the bedroom ceiling. There are a couple of other points that water has gotten in. Around the front window corners and maybe the front door. If I was renovating it I would remove the entire skin and reseal all joints. At that time any rotted framing would become obvious and be replaced. The ceiling throughout could be replaced. Other than that, the interior is in good condition. All the upholstery is leather. It was really beautiful in it's day and was renovated before it went onsite at the airfield. I am really attached to it but frankly I need to put in a lot of work (which I don't have time for) or spend a lot of money to restore it but then it would only sit in my shed taking up space indefinitely (and it uses up a lot of space!).
Currently it is in Macclesfield Victoria.

Hello all, I note that there have been 105 views of my post, but so far, no interest has been expressed. I can understand that. It is a monster van that would not be fun to tour with. It is more of a set-it-up on a lovely site and use it for holidays or even Airbnb it. Can anyone advise as to where else I could advertise it? I need to broaden its exposure, I feel. Thanks in advance. Mark

Hi Mark. One of the rules of this forum is that we don't discuss prices because it causes too much strife. From what you described it sound like it would be hard sight unseen without any pics anyway. Maybe post some photos with a notional price and see what interest is generated.

I had a couple of van aficionados who build vans for a living and restore them as a hobby who inspected it say that after restoration it would be worth north of $45k.
