hey there McVin Van appreciators We just pushed The Turtle out to have a look how the big Muvva sits 2nd Chassis inspection coming up soon fitted the new motor and gearbox the 14 inch wide rear tyres and mags are off it soon and steel rims and Caddy theme will follow starting to get a shape about it now I think a Marvin look a like or a 16 foot Airstream Bambi might be the go as a Match up This is the Turtle when we started this is after the big snip the panels are not complete yet they were hung to see if its is what we want as basic shape before the panels are completed now we pull it down and align the doors finish the panels and spray the seperate panels then paint them and rebuild it after the required alterations drop the rear 2 inches hope the car goes with the 4 litre walpamur carby this is close to the look I want but with Caddy theme Will

Thanks Col Pete Holder needs congratulating Im just paying the money and the errand boy Pete is a great bloke and the finished product will be something special when I asked him to do the job I had no idea what it was going to look like he said to me He would only do it if it didnt remain a four door he has hand built the whole car he shaped the floors and panels with a dolly hammer and chisels made all of the lock mechanisms in fact took it back to bare metal by hand it is a treat to watch a craftsmen at work whats more he has remained true to our handshake deal in every way you would understand where I am coming from Col as you are one of Australias premiere custom car builders some of the builders take on to much and generally the end result is one of dissapointments delays and the cars remain in limbo sometimes for years Pete is a true gentleman to do business with and has lived up to every aspect as far as I am concerned and would reccomend him to anyone who is in a similiar situation to me Will

Hi Will & Lyn,
Good to see it completed. Its very well proportioned in my eyes, & certainly well put together.
Having fun with it is what its all about now. After the first few stone chips you'll drive it everywhere.
Good luck with your first show.

Hi Will & Lyn .. and Family. Now THAT really does explain why you have been so quiet here on the forum for so long... Definitely not the Green Turtle no more.... Your mate up in the hills has done a great job on the body mods and the paintwork looks sweet. Time for some fun Take a break ( and a bow) ... go enjoy the Chev for a while then ... once you and .. the bank balance have recovered a bit get stuck into that pickup truck. Make sure you guys get plenty of pixs at Hamyln. Have been hearing about the bushfires sou east of Perth.... Hope you and all the other W.A vintage vanners are safe and well with the fires not posing any threats to your homes. Sounds like you health clinic venture is going well.... Congrats on a job well done there too. Regards Reddo. Trish ands family

Hey Will, NOICE car maaaaate! ;D , and I'm with reddo hope you are all ( W.A VV'ers) are safe and well with he fires over there, with everything happening over this side it just goes to show how we can be preoccupied with our own problems and not see others but then it don't help if we only get 2 minutes of news unlike the 20 hours we got with Qld's troubles and then ours on top of it, hope they soon get on top of it. Humpyboy.
