EEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK A cut.shut , chopped, channeled and tubbed "Turtle" Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooool While ya got the tape measure out run it around that Buddha waist and make sure that the doors are wide enough for you to get in there when its finished Get the upholsterer to fit one of them "Smokey Dawson" vibrating recliner chairs in there for a drivers seat. 61 year olds need all the comfort they can afford . Hows about a chopped sledded post 1970 aluminium caravan to drag around behind it..There is millions out there to hack up and it would only need a roof hieght of 4'6" ::)sorta like a non vintage pop top without the "pop top" I love your work Will.. Keep us posted on the progress. Reddo.. from the far side

Hey Jailbar yep your 100% right Dennis Pete is a carnut and a genius with metal he has limited coach work machinery and does 90% by hand he is an amazing guy as you would know If you get the wrong people for these projects you see the car many years later they do 3 hours work set up and pack up and charge through the nose I approached 4 people and two wanted to do it on a part time basis a(hit and miss) day here couple of hours there and the whole thing turns into a night mare in fact a costly nightmare Pete said he would spend 3 and a half days a week on it and that is what he has done he has stuck to our agreement 100% he so far has rebuilt the whole body shaped the Vw seats to fit made the door handles and ( BECAUSE THEY ARE SUICIDE DOORS WHEN WE SHUT THE DOORS A PIN GOES THROUGH THE LOCK AUTOMATICALLY)foot pedals are handmade too he has spent 60 hours to get it to this stage also in that time he has fitted the steering and linkages fitted a new diff changed the right hand section on the ht frontend plus other stuff no sand blasting all by hand must be some kind of record I think to do that amount of work all ive done is sand blast the chassis and put the iron converter on it and undercoat it he is the first person Ive dealt with on cars that doesnt come up with Lame excuses why why this or that hasnt been done every cent and every thing has been recorded we had a simple handshake agreement I do the running around and picking up of everything he lives in the country near dwellingup around 140 ks from my place and I drive down every sunday and get in the way and pay him so its fantastic to have a guy like pete who is as straight and honest and knowledgable as he is gotta thank fire fighter for that lead on the boot door I will catch up and buy him a carton or something Thanks for your interest Dennis its all going better than I ever thought after black betty 2 years plus this is great probably be all done around february if things keep going as well as they have ;D Will

Hey Vin vanners and car nuts I had my first chassis check saturday ;D ;D ;D :Dfor the Chev drive car and we had to do a show for a local caravan supply centre called Camec hopefully papparazzi might put up some photos I left my Camera home had to get the F100 and the teardrop to welshpool then get the chassis and the car trailer to almost the same area so a busy day saturday I had to go to dwellingup to pick up the chassis and back 300 ks and get my car to the show lucky my son in law volunteered to take the chassis down for me Or I would still be driving As jailbar says mix it all in on one thread Bayley OK thats what ill do good show we had 5 vans and cars there and we all got a free clock free sausage sizzle and drinks and lots of people went through the Vans and some interested in joining the group Gentleman Jim came with his little teardrop and his baby 48 vauxhall topless with dicky seat called Kermit ;D Tucky came with his mint Kennedy and the 29 plymouth lilypad( Pottsy) and his totally rebuilt 58 Baravan unbelievably roomy unit the way he has configured it to hard to explain you just have to see it towed by his custom EK Surferboy and his fe wagon and Baravan (3rd motor in three years )in the wagon I took the F100 and TIA my Teardrop With Matching Bling Wheels did you hear that Col !!!! hey Reddo dont worry mate if you like bling on the ute thing then thats ok I think i must be Gay Cause I like it both ways Bling and Plain wheels the 36 chev is having Plain wheels 15x10 on the rear and 14x7 on the front Whitewalls and Cadillac wheel trims and a Cadillac air filter etc hows this Jailbar more on the same thread!!!! the Kennedy that was on the net went for $2750.00 but it required a few things plus paint I bid two thousand for it then pulled out be nice to have a spare van on the east coast seeing we come over every now and then I will wait and see if I can pick something up for the right price all finished pay for it and let the owners have the use of it while we are not using it if they store it for us any one no any one that wants the use of a van for 50 weeks a year store it and we will pay for it preferably NSW but Vic is ok too! Will and Lyn PS the chassis passed the first inspection next one is with body on in about six weeks so the Chev should be on the road in about two to three months ;D

Hi Will,
I love musicals and go to as many as possible. As for Miss Saigon, I didn't go this time as I went to the production 4 years ago and it was the worst musical I had ever been to. I would suggest Lynn waits till the show has been on in Perth for awhile and gets lots of feedback before spending the money.
Love the pinky/purple seats, really not sure about the shorts (they look more like 3 quarter pants) ;D ;D
Regards Di
