Hi Rachana, Welcome to the forum and thanks for telling us about your Viscount. Viscount used ‘A’ as suffix for the serial numbers (ie at the end of the series of numbers) for its Duralvan/Royal models from 1970 to 1972, so that means your van was built sometime in that period. However, during that period the numbers ranged from ‘1A’ (we presume) up to around ‘9640A’, in other words from one to four digits before the ‘A’. The number you have given us is ‘21972’, so that is five digits and is outside the range of numbers Viscount used, at least as far as we know up to now. So that makes your number a bit of a puzzle. Can you double check the serial number you’ve given us please? Also if you can show us some pics of your van, we may be able to tell you more. There is info on how to post photos using the ‘Add Attachment’ button if you follow the prompt here. But please note that because you are posting from your mobile, there is an additional step you need to take to make the ‘Add Attachment’ button appear. We’ll be glad to help you further if we can. Don Ricardo
