Good morning all Can anyone tell the year, make or model of this old van that I am renovating please? I'm a new member and struggling with how to create a new thread and have inserted photo of the van as 'an attachment'. Hope this will work. thanks Jill The Van.jfif (115.61 KB)

Hi Jillm, Welcome to the forum and thanks for telling us about your van. You've done well - you've created a new thread and uploaded the photo of your van. Apologies for the fact that it's not as easy to navigate this forum as it is with some others. It uses a fairly old platform (the Forum started in 2004), but we now have so much valuable information here that it makes it impossible to transfer to a more modern platform. Anyway, give yourself a pat on the back - you achieved what you were wanting to. Just to make it a bit easier for people to see your van and provide info, I've copied the photo and have posted it below: Your caravan looks like a Millard from around 1962/3. If you can tell us the serial number from the drawbar, we can most likely confirm the year. If you have a look at the Millard thread in the 'Down History Lane' section here (particularly the second page) you'll see some other examples like your van. Don Ricardo

Good morning Don Ricardo
Thanks so much for all the helpful information and for uploading the photo. Very much appreciated.
Geez 60 years old! I bet this van could tell some stories.
I will update with pics as I go along.
Again, many thanks
Jill

Good morning all I'm working on my 62/63 Millard and it's looking better Here's a question that I ask in total ignorance - is an older van like this one worth more then a newer van? Thank you all Jill
