Hi Rodger,
The serial number E8059 (or E8050) tells us that your van is a Viscount Ambassador and built at the very end of 1968 or the very beginning of 1969. That date matches the cladding profile on the sides and the coloured flash.
Serial number E7976 is an Ambassador dated 7 December 1968, and E8184 is dated 21 January 1969. So your van is right in the middle there somewhere.
If you look under the table you may be lucky enough to find an actual date for your van.

thank you very much, thats interesting information, means its about 2-3 months older than i am...
the only things that i have found so far with a date are a little id plate on the front that says 1982 and is something to do with gas and a piece of paper taped to the inside of the cupboard that has a date in 1984 on it and also looks like its something to do with gas fitting or an inspection...
unfortunately theres a lot of water damage and the table is basically destroyed, as is the floor, as im taking it apart i'll look for anything with a date on it...
thanks again to you both, much appreciated...
