Just some photos of the cars I use to tow my caravans. As you can see I have a bit of a soft spot for FX FJ Holdens. Thanks. Richard.

G’Day Trodler,
Welcome to the Vintage Caravan site. I remember seeing this rig at the FJ’s 50th. Anniversary in 2003 at the National Museum--what have you done with the giant bonnet badge? Living so close to Coledale you could bring both vans for the weekend, love to see you there.
Cobber.

G'DAY RICHARD , MAAAATE , " YOU'VE GOTTA HAVE A UTE " And if its an FJ you have got it made in the shade , COOOOOL ! I'll save you a spot next to mine , great photo opportunity , but i'm sure there will be plenty of them ! Looks like early model Holdens are well represented as tow vehicles , possibly a reflection of the 50's- 60's holiday lifestyle in Australia . Anywho , welcome aboard this fantastic web site , look forward to catching up at Coledale . I think we should win the tug-o-war against the Ford owners , easy ! REGARDS MAURIE . "KEEP HOLDEN ON " p.s meet you at the state titles in the 'gong , i had the red FX convertible, all the best, MAURIE

HI Cobber I did have the ute and caravan at the 50th anniversary, that was a one of the best weekends that I have had with my cars, I did sooo much looking and talking. The fx dealer sign is now hanging in pride of place in my garage, It takes three people to get it to hang on the wall. I am hoping to be able to make it to coledale, but do you realize that I would have to travel a good 15 minutes from my place to the caravan park.Seriously, I wont know till the week before,so well wait and see.Besides that I have to check out a certain blue ute and caravan I think its the guy that couldnt afford to put a roof on his fx. See ya Trodler
