The van is in poor condition needing repaint, window seals, fridge and cooker, also due to seals leaking the bed frame and front table need to be replaced also the plywood floor sheeting has started delaminating . I believe (from information read on this forum ) it is a 58-59 model due to the lattice tube type chassis, rounded wheel arches with spats (missing) and wrap around front and rear windows. Does this model have the chassis number/date info stamped on the draw bar as mentioned in other topics? John

Thanks for that Humpty2! ;D I actually had a mk2 some time ago, thus my (I thought!) educated guess! the grille and front were similar - ish. Great car, and this one will look great with the sunliner! Matt Lover of ALL classic cars! hehe

Thanks guys, I know it looks a bit boring from the outside , but it has a strong heart, recent reco Mk2 motor bored, cam, head work, extractors and triple S.U.'s. , Mk2 diff and shortened mk2 axles and soon to have Toyota crown 3 sp all sync with elect overdrive, still using the column shift ;D John
