Afraid I can't use my '59 FC Holden to tow my van "when" I get it finished (don't think the "boys in blue" would like it) So I'll have to use my Dads car , it's a little later model & different make .(302 V8 , plenty of power) My Dad passed away on the 25th May , and I'm sure he'd be proud to see his van behind his car again. Sorry to hear of your dad's passing, Norm. I think you are right, dad's car would be a much more "economical" driving proposition! Good to you you are NOT so one-eyed about which brand of car you drive, unlike SOME people (who shall remain nameless!!!!!) on this site. Me - - - - I would even hook my Propert to the back of a Roller, as long as it gets me to my destination!!!! Cheers Ray

Mmmm yea the FC does about 10mpg "on a good day" it's got a 192 , triple SU's BIG cam , stops good but , 4 wheel discs ;D Jailbarjuice Last run was our local street parade (walking pace ) and a club meet at Orange Feb last year , otherwise just laps of the front yard. Used to race it at Oran Park & Amaroo Park (now closed) in Sydney 1974-1986 .. Just "pose" value now , but wouldn't part with it for quids . The XB is only just run in , genuine 134,000 k's Norm PS Trev & I used to have some "good old debates" re:- Holden "v" Frords (correct spelling according to Trev)
