Hi All, I am wondering if I can tow my mum's Millard 1974 caravan with my Nissan 2018 X trail petrol? Pls can you point me in the right direction to get a definitive answer? Thanks Minx Handknits

Hi Minx, You will have to look in your handbook to see what your model car can tow,it’s a different weight for manual and autos,then look on the caravan rego and see what the GTM or GVM of the Millard is and that will give you an answer. Put the weights on here and we can tell you. Cheers hughdeany

Thanks Minx Handknits According to Carsales, which list the specs of the Nissan X Trail, the towing capacity for braked vehicles is 1500kg. MT.

That's interesting MT, the earlier X Trails were rated up to 2000kg. Wonder why they were reduced?

That's interesting MT, the earlier X Trails were rated up to 2000kg. Wonder why they were reduced? Prior to 2014 the X Trail had an unbaked capacity of 2000kg. The next model was smaller, and engine specs changed. The 2018 edition is still at 1500kg. MT
