Hi Everyone, I'm looking for some help sourcing parts for the galley pump out of my 1964 Roadmaster. The pump is a Whale Angled pump, pictures attached (i hope). As it wont prime I have pulled it apart and the rubber cup washers and seals require replacement. Have searched the forum but find some old posts missing. If anyone can help with suggestions in finding these parts it would be appreciated. I would rather refurbish this pump than replace it. Many thanks Rob 20180920_103951 by Rob Sandow, on Flickr 20180920_103732 by Rob Sandow, on Flickr 20180920_103807 by Rob Sandow, on Flickr 20180920_104402 by Rob Sandow, on Flickr 20180920_104013 by Rob Sandow, on Flickr

hi Rob, Caravans Plus in Canberra have a host of hand pumps, maybe you can blend a new inside with yours.

Thanks Brent, I've had a look there on line. I'll contact them with some sizes and see if they can help. Cheers

G'day wodnas,
The "service kit" for Whale Angled Freshwater Pump MkII, MkIII, and MkIV is Part No. SK0103. It might still be available from this stockist in the UK:
Alternatively, you could perhaps make contact with these people in the UK, and see if they can do anything for you, or tell you if there's a local stockist near you:
If all else fails, it's possible the service kit for the newer model "Whale Vertical Self Priming Galley Pump - Whale GP0650 Pantry Pump V Mk6 (hand operated)" - might have some of the parts that would suit your pump. The service kit is part number AK0618.
cheers, Al.

Thanks Al and Brent for your replies. I dropped in to Whitworth's at Southport and they said the same as you Al that parts from a Mk6 would most likely be suitable. I took a risk for $13 and ordered a kit. Will take a week or two. Failing that I'll check out the UK sites. I will keep you informed when the kit arrives. Thanks again. Rob

Hey Wodnas, did the Mk6 parts work for you?

Some parts fitted and some parts didn’t, but there were enough that did to get the pump working. Has been ok for eighteen months now.
