Hi everyone, My name is Dean and Im from Melbourne. Im new here and enjoying all the great resources in this forum. I have recently purchased a Sandhurst caravan from a friend. Its been with her family one for most of the caravans life and has always been housed under a roof. I know it was purchased in Bendigo Victoria but not sure if thats where it was built. I'd like to get a rough year of the caravan and any other information relating to the caravan as I cannot find any information about these caravans online. Thanks in advance. Hi Hughdeany Thanks for your message, here are a few more images of my caravan. Im not sure if its noticeable in the photos but it has front curved plastic windows which seems to me an unusual feature. Maybe Phoenix or Huntsman or Panorama? It also looks like an early Viscount but I 'm not aware of that shape in bondwood, only aluminium. Many 2nd hand dealers re-branded caravans that came through their yards & Bendigo was originally named Sandhurst Town.

Hi Dean c, Your van looks like a Wayfarer, going by the window hardware, the shape and especially the end of your kitchen where there is a cupboard beside and behind the stove with the hidden cupboard door and the general hardware. These vans were also sold as Viscount and others at some stage, and now Sandhurst by the look of it! Great little van that will come up a treat with a little bit of work. Cheers hughdeany

Thanks Shesgotthelook and hughdeny, I greatly appreciate your help. Would anyone know roughly what year it may of been built in? Its in quite good condition apart from two minor repairs that weren't carried out properly which have now been repaired correctly. New paint in a few weeks and all metal work will be polished. Thanks again:)
