Hi wild man aus, Im going to get 2 windows cut at St Marys on Tuesday.Glass is 3mm thick and costs about $35 to 40 a m2.I got a crack in one at Budgewoi and my gypsy came with one cracked .Try to keep it together by tape if it has a radius on the bottom 2 edges so they can copy the curve to save labour (cheaper price) if it breaks in pieces make a cardboard templete and take it with you .Ive been quoted $40 for glass and $5 FOR A RADIUS CUT $60 bucks total for the 2 following windows. the gypsy window is hinged from the side and slips up in this groove the fairland is top hinged Cheers Dave ..... final cost for the above 2 windows was $53.93

Just wanted to ask yet another question ... and thought that this was the most appropriate place if anyone wanted to do a search on the same issue later ... the "rubber" seal around some of the windows in the 150 Don show quite marked signs of perishing (ok... i admit it - most of them are perished ;D)... can this seal be replaced ... if so where do i get it from and what do i ask for ... was it specific to each manufacturer? .. i also want to replace the seal around the door frame - part of it is "missing" - it looks like a pretty simple rubber seal, kind of squarish ... i presume that it would come from the same place .... is ther any particular brand that is especially better ... or worse ... than the other regards A|T

Hi A/T, Give spectrum rubber a call at St Marys.02 96235333 .They have most styles of rubber mouldings, only problem there not cheap but you get what you need www.spectrumrubber.com.au/Im not sure on what mould you need but most fixed windows use what is called H mould Bunnings also have the rectangle flat door seals in a foam that stick on one side Cheers Dave
