The following items were in my van. this bbq/fireplace was in a cardboard box in the van ready to go with some very seasoned firewood. Its been cut out off a steel can and folded over. this shower came with a pulley and rope and a screw on shower rose. this can was the washing machine that was placed at the front of the van between caravan park stops. Cheers Dave

That's great stuff Dave,
Neither of those two tins look like they are converted kero tins, do they have any markings on 'em to indicate what they were originally?
Cobber.

Ok krisbee at the risk of carrying this thread on and being deleted I will use my shower anywhere and stand proud ......but at cold.ale the dunnys were fine for a HOT shower even if you had to wait for one to be come vacant.I can remember waiting my turn for a shower on a Saturday morning and when one became available out came a knome. Ah the vintage van gang what can I say ,only in Australia. Anyway heres some cooking stuff that came with my gypsy including a willow roaster, Cheers Dave ( DONT GET ME STARTED OR YOU WILL HAVE TO DELETE ME )

Hey Cobber, I checked out those metal tins and they have no markings, except how to remove the lid.Based on the owners previous occupation i think they held chemicals to spray for fruit fly. Cheers Dave
