Hi Everyone,
I hope 2007 has got off to a good start for you all. Im looking forward to being a little more active on the site this year considering i am living in Sydney for 12 months and Sam is back in Melb.
As Sam & my Franklin nears completion my attention is turning to getting the tow car right. Im in need of towing mirrors to suit the HT and was wondeirng how you guys got on getting something suitable for the old cars. My HT only has a drivers side mirror so i may need the old school across the bonnet.
Also, i think i may need level rides (not the big heavy duty ones you need a 2100kg hithc for) as the back sits down just a little more than i would like. Do any of you guys use these and if so how do you find using/towing with them??
The car mechanically is in good condition for its age and still runs the original motor which really hasn't done much work over its 125,000miles. It also has an oil cooler for the powerglide as my grandfather used it to tow his van at the time when it was new in 69 & 70.
If any of you have any advice in how you prepared the your old cars prior to towing it would be appreciated.
Cheers, J-Rod

Thanks JBJ for the advice..
I'll try a few Caravan places this weekend for the type you run on the EH.. I thought i may have struggled without visiting a swap meet or the like.
Thanks again, J-Rod
