Can anyone help - We are in need of a Qualicraft or similar side window for our sunliner. The previous window was fixed and not made of safety glass & has broken. We don't want to put another fixed window in. So if you have any spare ones just laying around we would love to hear from you. Please call Pete or Trish on 07 3410 7339 or 0419733949 Regards Pete & Trish

Hi Pete and trish. I am pretty sure i have one qualicraft window left over from the TD project. I live in Newcastle . JBJ is heading down here for Motorfest and will be going to bribie island get together. I will have to check and see if the window is still amongst the shi..... ummmm the good bits . Yours for a beer if our paths ever cross . Depending on room and his willingness to cart the thing with him JBJ might be able to lug it up there for you. If this is not an option , Maybe someone closer might have one kicking around. you could try a local caravan supplies or wreckers. Cheers Reddo

Hi Reddo & JBJ, We really appreciate your help and would be happy to buy you both a beer or 3 when we meet. The opening of the window is: 660wide x 470 high. The window is for the front near side. We believe this window is normally fixed given it is next to the doorway. This window is smaller than the rear side opening windows.
Once again thank you and we will see you on Bribie Island. Pete & Trish

Hi P&T Which way does the dooor swing???. The reasonn for the fixed window maybe because the door swing around and would hit a fully open window. would not be able to latch the door in a fully open position with the window open??? Your dimensions sound very similar to the size i had to cut in the TD i am building. i used 2 of the 3 windows i have salavaged from an old ply van. I believe that most of these windows where the same dimension and radius on the corners no matter who the manufacturer/ supplier was. There is a thin aluminium extrusion that scres to the window opening on your van that the window closes onto . i think i have one left of those as well. Been a bit slack and never checked to see if the window is still down the shed. Will definitely check it out before Thursday night. I may have given it to Trodler when he came up and collected the old axle and brakes from under the wrecked van or was it terry and grum .. naaaa they got the ice chest and a few old holden bits??? Dementia can be a terrible thing. I better do some stock taking before i go promising anything to anyone in the future. Now where was i...... ummmmm ... geeez i cant remember what i was doin 5 minutes ago. Reddoldagedelinquent

Its all good brothers. Found the window . same measurements . lower two corners are 100mm radius. Just realised you pair are canetoads... Deal is off. Ohhh all right then . ya can still have it as long as you fill the big fella full of beer when he gets to Bribie with the goodies. I will deal with you pair later in the year at Wintersun or when state of origin returns. Reddgotheblues
