;D ;D ;D Hi V V' ers hopefully someone like Reddo, JBJ or someone with this experience or knowledge will be able to shed some light or advice on the following situation.
I am looking at buying a 1963 Chev Pick Up that was imported to OZ, it has never been registered in OZ, and the Import Papers state that it is a 1963 Pick Up with one VIN number. It has been put on to a 80's chev chassis and there is no mention of this on the import papers. I will need a blue slip for rego, but the question is will I need an engineering certificate also because the chassis has been changed. It is also LHD, I know that early vehicles can be rego'd as LHD, would the chassis change this situation, and would it require a RHD conversion. Any info would be appreciated, I am going to look at the vehicle on the 29th of this month in QLD, and just want to be sure before purchase. Thanks Paul.

Hi JBJ Thanks for the info mate, I am going to contact the RTA over this vehicle, according to their website, it sounds easy, but as we all know with the RTA there is no such thing as EASY!!!!!!! I have also been given an engineers name from our club mechanic so he may also be able to shed some light on it. Anyhoo thanks for the input, and I will let you know what happens, Paul.
