The Vintage Forum is just a chat forum, it is not incorporated or a corporation so there is no protection for the organisers (administrators or moderators). Bank Accounts cannot be opened in the name of the forum documents cannot be signed on behalf of the forum.

The person who signs an agreement on behalf of the forum to use or purchase a server will be financially and legally liable for it. They will be responsible for how it is used and what is stored on it.

The collection of funds has the potential for taxation implications. If the collector is receiving , centre link benefits ie Health Care Card, Pension or similar, these benefits could be impacted.

Paying Photobucket would be easier and I think it would work out cheaper.. Or use another 3rd party hosting site ..

One of the "solutions" that were discussed at length was an entry fee for the Nationals. For a particular fee of $30 you get a pennant (cost $20) , a sticker(cost $5) , and the extra 5 dollars go to the funding of the website. 100 vans attending give you a budget of $500.

What happened to the profit made from the pennants and stickers??
