I don’t want to be the negative one on this but buying or renting a server to host photos opens up a whole can of worms. The Vintage Forum is just a chat forum, it is not incorporated or a corporation so there is no protection for the organisers (administrators or moderators). Bank Accounts cannot be opened in the name of the forum documents cannot be signed on behalf of the forum. The person who signs an agreement on behalf of the forum to use or purchase a server will be financially and legally liable for it. They will be responsible for how it is used and what is stored on it. The collection of funds has the potential for taxation implications. If the collector is receiving , centre link benefits ie Health Care Card, Pension or similar, these benefits could be impacted. Paying Photobucket would be easier and I think it would work out cheaper.. Or use another 3rd party hosting site .. What happened to the profit made from the pennants and stickers?? bobt
