I dont think this subject has been raised before. Has anyone with a large enough V V put in one of those moulded one piece toilet/shower combos (such as sold by Camec)?
I do realise it is important to keep Vintage Vans authentic but !!!! the mod cons are great sometimes! Esp with a Grandson who comes on holidays with us.
Our caravan is only big enough for a portable toilet so there is no way we could put in a combo unit but would be nice ! I guess we could always have two caravans. On Vintage the other modern.
Cheers Kathryn

Kathryn A fairly simple solution is to get one of the shower/toilet tents and use it to put the porta potti in and for showering, use a 7 or 11 litre garden sprayer, they need about two kettles of cold water to one kettle of hot water for a decent shower, adjust to suit the temp you require. Greg

Hi Greg and Greg Great Idea we will get a shower/toilet tent. This is only for emergencies. With our Grandson we always stay in a caravan park but we sometimes take the caravan out on day trips and he needs to go at the most in-oppurtune moment. And as we get older !!!!!!!!!!!! We have put the Portable toilet in the wardrobe (as we dont use it) and put a piece of timber accross the inside of the wardrobe and also the wardrobe locks and there is always octopus straps! This is not to say the toilet cant come crashing through the wardrobe door. It hasnt yet! Cheers Kathryn
