Yesterday's Melbourne Age newspaper (and probably the Sydney Morning Herald) carried an article by Harold Mitchell reflecting on the simplicity of the January caravan holiday - here. It contains quite a few nuggets of truth which will resonate with vintage vanners!
Harold Mitchell is a big time media executive, known around our area for driving his Ferrari around our twisting country roads, so perhaps is well placed to yearn for simplicity amongst the complexities of life.
It's an interesting article anyway, and worth the read.
