Looks homemade to me! Any numbers on the chassis or under table or drawers? Some better photos would help. Cheers hughdeani

Is the roof and front and back silver aluminium? Can't tell from pic,but the interior looks older than the exterior. Have the sides been covered by white aluminium at some stage, could be over the bondwood as the Ali profile is newer. Interior looks fantastic and original, lot of care obviously gone into the building. Cheers hughdeani

Hi 2sneezles,
That's a great little van you've got there.
My feeling is that it isn't home built - some of the design features and shapes look not all that easy to build (eg the roof line), and while there were and are some very skilled home builders out there, their vans tended to be more conventional, and in many cases more pedestrian, in design. But that's just my gut feeling at the moment.
I reckon I've seen something similar somewhere, but I'm not sure where. I've looked around and found a couple of vans that are getting towards the shape of this one, but nothing close enough to say it's a close relative.
Can you provide photos of the back of the van and looking in the other direction inside? And what do the instructions you found say? Sometimes tiny clues provide the answer.

Hi 2sneezles,
Hmmm, some more photos of your caravan to tease our brains! The sunshade over the back window certainly marks the van out as something fairly unusual.
I still have something rolling around in my memory, but haven't been able to nail it as yet, and it looks like nobody else has been able to identify your van either at this point.
I'll copy the photos to the unidentified van thread in Down History Lane, in the hope that someone will come along at some point that will be able to tell us your van's origins. In the meantime, we'll look forward to seeing some photos of the restoration. Hope it's all going smoothly.
