Thanks DR, but as you know Clipper built both types, and apparently at the same time.
I had quite a long chat with Don at Baringhup about Clippers and we both think that they did build vans to order and quite possibly supplied kits or partly built vans to the home builder.
These would have had lots of the standard Clipper features but would not necessarily have been branded as Clippers.
Just our theory, but based on what facts we do know.

Next time you come to Tassie you can back it up close to the Meander river at Deloraine and we'll join you for a couple of Beverages ? They're ugly but for some reason I can't stop looking
