Any issues with soda blasting water based acrylic paint off a fibreglass Olympic.

Our experience was not good. We had "Miss Daisy" (fibreglass Quest) soda blasted a few years ago and ended up with pitting into the gelcoat. We read all the available information at the time and thought it was the way to go but in hindsight would never had it done seeing the end result. It may well be the operator was inexperienced with doing fibreglass If you decide to go ahead with soda blasting I would ask to see what their previous efforts have turned out like. Citra Stip is a great non caustic stripper especially on fibreglass Cheers S&J
