Bought her off EBay sight unseen. Rego says she is a 1978 but judging by chassis number think she may be a 1968. We have called her Minnie and we have already repainted her and relaid the floors. Still need to redo the internal electrics, add a water tank and we want to replace the hatch which looks a little dodgy with an aircon. Sadly the rear window has been closed up by previous owner. She tows beautifully and we took her to Hervey Bay this weekend. Awesome weekend away. Mark & Mary-Anne Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Gday M&M & welcome. No,you`re not crazy.Just normal like all of us.Looks to be quite a good looking van. (hope you`re going to pretty up the belt line paintbrush line).Just kidding.Looking at the roof line above kitchen window it appears the J mold has lifted? Prime spot for water to leak in.Bit of silastic & screwdown or rivet.Re the rear window - wouldn`t think it that hard to remove the checker plate panel, see whats behind & if you wanted to cut an opening & fit a replacement window from a sheet of Lexan if original type can`t be found.

Haha yes going to put a chrome trim between the two colours. Ive now screwed down the J mold. Thanks for the advice on the window. We are taking her to an old caravan repair guy next month to get electrics done. Will ask about the window ?. Besides the window she seems in really good condition for her age. Looking forward to making her like new again. This is the 3rd caravan I've had and the easiest to tow by far.
