Hello everyone, We've just purchase out very first caravan and are all new to this. Please bare with me as I'm pretty sure I'll be posting quite a few posts in the future! Our first question is this - what style/brand is our caravan? It's a cute little 11ft and we were told it was late 1960's and is an " aluminium van" On the chassis it has a number and part visible letters - we can see what appears to be the last 3 letters of a word .....OOD.... Pat No 34302 Any help would be much appreciated! Please see images below for your reference. Thanks! Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Hi Beckjayne,
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with your van.
I can't help you identify your van straight off - others on the forum maybe able to. However, I think the 'ood' you've found refers to the coupling or hitch on the van and indicates that it is made by Dymwood.
There seems to be a brandname sticker covered by paint on the bulkhead over the front window? Can you decipher anything through the paint? If not you may be able to very carefully remove the paint over the sticker to find out what it says.

Thanks Don for your quick reply! Unfortunately we cant see anything through the paint. It would be great to know what kind of van it is - we're planning to restore it and there are a couple of windows that need fixing (new glass and seals)
